Three Oak Tourist Resort on Gordon Lake
Every cottage is fully equipped and with all utensils and bedding, so all you will have to bring is your food, toilettery and a good mood.
In Ontario law requires us that we have our water tested for drinking. Our water is 100% save to drink.
A supermarket and three restaurants can be found in Bruce Mines which is only about 15 km or 9 miles away.
Each cottage has a sun deck with lake view. Relax and wait to watch one of the breathtaking sunsets. Enjoy the clean air. Take many pictures here and during your sightseeing trips!

Certainly you also want to be active. Try fishing for walleye, northern pike, small-mouth bass, perch and even Sturgeon. Then clean them in our big fishouse to grill them on one of our BBQ's or freeze them in the big freezer to take home with you.
The mandatory fishing license can be purchased in a close by Bait Shop.
Someone who likes even more action, could have it out on the lake water-skiing.
The area is also ideal for bird and wildlife watching, and the "Trans-Canada Hiking" trail is only minutes away from us. We also supply, canoe and paddle boat for free usage and rent out motorboats.
Our simple 14 ftt fishing boats come with 9.9 hp outboard engines and all mandatory safety equipment. Local people need a valid "Boat Operating Card". Visitors from other countries do not need a license if they do not stay longer than 42 days in Canada.
The fee for using these boats is $ 80.00 per day or $ 275.00 per week. Gasoline is 1 Tank included.
Fall season provides magnificent colors all around and the hunters should not miss the opening of the fall hunting season.

If you are a nature lover and do not want to travel with a huge motor home or a trailer vacations at a cottage resort is the best and most cost efficient way for vacations in Canada.
Gordon Lake has a size of about 3 km x 2.5 km (1.9 miles x 1.6 miles). It is fed by the Thessalon River. You can travel on it to another lake of similar size.
The attractive city of Sault Ste. Marie and the US border can be reached in about 45 minutes by car.
Please do not forget to do things which you may not have done for years. Remember - your are here for vacations!
Spend time together with you family. Playing on our big lawn, throwing horseshoes, playing on the kiddie swings or in the swimming pool, riding bikes or just relaxing with a good book or watching Satellite TV.
There is also an open fireplace at the shore where you can roast your marshmallows and watch the breathtaking sunset. Make new friends. So stop and spend an hour, a day, a week or a lifetime with us.
During summer the lake has a temperature between 20 and 25°C (68 and 77°F).
We also have a round above ground pool for you and your children.

In case you have heard stories about the terrible and bloodthirsty blackflie, they are still around and do not belong to the endangerd species. Normally they are only active during most of the month of May. The mosquitos love to have their dinner mostly just after sunset. Don't forget Insect Repellent!
